Brian Forella opened Lola's in 2007 after the closing of legendary FW spot, The Wreck Room. Hundreds of Dallas/FW bands call Lola's their "home" and touring bands consider it their "home away from home". Lola's Saloon is a nationally recognized venue hosting touring artists and locals with the widest variety of genres seen anywhere in North Texas. The venue is well known for bringing bands to Fort Worth that would normally choose to play Dallas or Austin, which makes Lola's a major contributor cultivating the music scene in Fort Worth. This mission has allowed Lola's to host bands that typically far outdraw it's humble capacity of around 300.
