Salt Creek Grille

Forrestal Village,1 Rockingham Row

For years before the doors ever opened in July of 1996, Tim McCune and his original partner, Pete Truxaw, had a vision to create a neighborhood restaurant and tavern tailored to the locals in the community. The dream was to build an upscale yet casual American themed grille, where local friends and family would come to relax and enjoy. From that dream, Salt Creek Grille was born. Our passion is to offer the complete experience - warm surroundings staffed by hospitable and knowledgeable associates with food and drink offerings that will leave you craving your next visit.

Our formula is simple. The scent of our hardwood grille with its fresh fish, sizzling steaks and best-in-town burgers greets each customer at the door. Our food is crafted with the freshest meats, poultry, fish and produce, sourced with a dedication to local ranching, fishing and farming, to create the freshest menu possible. By adding a perfectly paired range of wines to our menus from unique boutique vineyards and well-known cellars, we cater to both the wine connoisseur and the causal taster. Combine our fresh culinary creations and wine lover's selections with restaurant settings that exude warmth through unique architecture, and you have the quintessential sophisticated yet casual ambiance that leaves you wanting more.

We proudly believe we have achieved this throughout our intimate organization of restaurants. With locations on both coasts, Rumson and Princeton, NJ and Valencia, El Segundo, and Dana Point, CA, our entire staff is passionate about providing superior service to each of our guests.

Today, our vision is executed and exceeded on a daily basis with partners Steve Bidgood, Hugh Preece, Scott Green and Sri Divel. Whether you are dining with us for the first time or experience the Salt Creek Grille way regularly, our wish is that you experience the "Welcome Home" ambiance we work so diligently to radiate.
