The Blind Tiger was established in 1988 as a local neighborhood bar and transformed into one of the best live music venues in North Carolina. Dedicated to bringing the best national,regional and local music to Greensboro the Tiger acquired talents like Ben Folds Five (1st gig ever),Derek Trucks, and Hootie & the Blowfish along with many more national and local bands.
In January 2011 The Blind Tiger moved down the road to a bigger better space, in close proximity to over three major Greensboro Universities and colleges. The new venue space provides bands with the best production,sound and amenities solidifying its reputation as a premier live music venue in the Southeast. In the years since the move the Blind Tiger has hosted bands like Little Feat, Rusted Root, Keller Williams, The Infamous Stringdusters,The Wood Brothers and many more national bands.
The Blind Tiger strives to bring the best local, regional and national bands to Greensboro and is proud to be recognized by national musicians as a first class musical venue.
